Bom HC: Special Authorization from State Not Required if ASP Wants to Raid Suspected Gambling Houses - 13.03.2024

Bombay High Court has held that the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) does not have to seek the authorization of the State Government in order to conduct a raid on suspected gambling houses under the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887.
