Utt. UCC Bill: Mandatory to Register Live-In Relationship Within 1 Month Of Entering Into It - 07.02.2024

Uttarakhand's Uniform Civil Code Bill (UCC Bill) tabled during the special session proposed the mandatory registration of live-in relationships within 1 month of entering into such relationship. Failing to do so prescribes punishment of 3 months of maximum imprisonment or a fine up ?10,000 or both.
