Kar. HC: Licensee Can’t be Evicted by Municipality On Expiry Of License without Judicial Order - 30.01.2024

Kar. HC has held that on expiry of Lease/License executed by Municipal Corporation, Lessee/Licensee cannot be forcibly evicted by such Corporation and is required to follow the procedure prescribed under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 or Transfer of Property Act.
