SC: Certifed Copy of Specimen Sign Can Be Procured From Bank if Sign on Cheque Disputed by Accused - 30.01.2024

Supreme Court has held that in a complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 if accused is disputing the signature on cheque, then the certified copies of the signatures can be procured from the bank to compare the same with the signature appearing on the cheque.
