Madras HC: State Vicariously Liable for Neglect, Compensation Granted to Man for Injuries Upheld - 25.01.2024

Madras High Court while upholding an order granting compensation to a man who suffered injuries during a bandh, has held that State would be vicariously liable for its inaction and/or not taking proper care of the law-and-order situation.
