Karnataka High Court: FIRs Cannot be Transferred by Invoking Powers Under Section 407 CrPC - 24.01.2024

Karnataka High Court has held that First Information Reports (FIRs) cannot be transferred by invoking powers under Section 407 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) and the provision is applicable only in cases and appeals.
