MP HC: Casting Doubt on Conduct of Elections via Social Media not an Offence u/s 505(2) of IPC - 22.01.2024

Madhya Pradesh High Court has held that merely casting a doubt upon the conduct of free and fair Legislative Assembly elections through a social media post cannot attract the offence under Section 505(2) of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) which talks about statements conducing to public mischief.
