Bom. HC Allows Refund of Stamp Duty Beyond Limitation Period - 15.01.2024

Bombay HC has allowed stamp duty refund to a flat purchaser on cancellation of flat purchase agreement after the expiry of limitation period of 5 years under the Maharashtra Stamp Act, as the developer neither developed the building nor cancelled the agreement in time.
