Bom. HC: State Can’t Avoid Responsibility for Acquiring Land by Citing Delay as an Excuse - 10.01.2024

Bombay High Court while observing that State can’t, on the ground of delay and laches, evade responsibility towards those whose private property has been acquired, has held that electricity regulations do not override land acquisition laws or prevent compensation for past unauthorized acquisition.
