SC: Benefit of Doubt to be Given to Accused on Failure to Prove Guilt Beyond Reasonable Doubt - 08.01.2024

Supreme Court has held that where evidence indicates that prosecution has failed to prove guilt of accused beyond reasonable doubt and that a view different from the one given by courts below can be taken, the appellate court shouldn’t shy away in giving the benefit of doubt to the accused persons.
