SC: FSS Act Will Prevail Over Food Adulteration Act to the Extent They're Inconsistent - 20.12.2023

Supreme Court has held that in case where an offence is punishable under both Food Safety and Standards (FSS) Act, 2006 and Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954, the provisions of FSS Act, will prevail over Prevention of Food Adulteration Act to the extent to which the same are inconsistent.
