Guj HC: ‘Rape’ Even if Committed by Husband Against Wife is ‘Rape’ - 18.12.2023

Gujarat High Court while observing that general economic dependence on family and fear of social ostracization act as significant disincentives for women to report any kind of sexual violence, has stated that rape is rape, even if committed by a husband against his wife.
