Del HC: Overlapping Jurisdiction for Maintenance Under Different Legislation Leads to Forum Shopping - 14.12.2023

Delhi High Court has observed that conflicting orders, in similar facts and circumstances, under overlapping jurisdiction of different Acts for grant of maintenance, create a sense of judicial impropriety and forum shopping, which may not be conducive to the majesty of the Courts.
