Del. HC: Obtaining of Voice Samples of Accused Must be in Compliance with Telegraph Act - 08.12.2023

Delhi High Court while referring to Supreme Court’s judgment in Ritesh Sinha v. State of Uttar Pradesh (MANU/SC/1023/2019
; 2019/INSC/855), has held that investigating agency can be authorized to obtain voice samples of accused, but there must be compliance of Telegraph Act, 1885.
