RBI looking into permitting FPI involvement in unlisted debt securities

The Reserve Bank of India released a draft circular, which, if accepted, will permit investment by Foreign Portfolio Investors in unlisted debt securities and securitised debt instruments.

Comments and feedback on the proposals are being received till 25 May 2016.
