Cal. HC: Situation of Rape Victim Being a Sterling Witness Can’t be Considered to be Universal - 01.12.2023

Calcutta High Court while allowing the appeal of a convict in a rape case, has observed that a victim of rape being an injured witness is exclusively categorized as “a sterling witness”, however, such a situation cannot be considered to be universal.
