IT dues payable in advance at authorised bank branches

Advance income tax can be paid at authorised banks instead of just with the Reserve Bank of India. Of the 29 banks authorised to acceptance tax remittance, most are nationalised banks. The list also includes HDFC, Axis Bank and ICICI.
