SC: If Exact Assessment of Age Can’t be Done, One Year Margin on Lower Side can be Granted - 23.11.2023

Supreme Court has observed that Rule 12(3)(b) Juvenile Justice Rules, 2007 provides that in the case exact assessment of the age cannot be done, Court or Board or the Committee may, if considered necessary give benefit to the child by considering his/her age on lower side within margin of one year.
