Orissa High Court to State: Use Facial Biometrics to Identify ATM Users, Deter Criminal Activities - 10.11.2023

Orissa High Court has directed the State to have discussion with all bank authorities to install ‘facial biometric identification systems’ at all Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) to facilitate investigating agencies to retrieve identities of persons using such facilities for illegal purposes.
