SC: EPF Act Can be Applied Even to Factories Not Engaged in Schedule 1 Industries - 10.11.2023

SC while deciding the issue of applicability of EPF Act, 1952 has held that as per Clause (b) of Section 1(3), EPF Act is applicable to all establishments which are not covered by Section 1(3)(a), provided such establishments are notified by a gazette notification issued by Central Government.
