SC: PF Can’t be Withheld by Bank Without Proving Actual Loss Caused by Employee - 09.11.2023

Supreme Court has held that as per Punjab National Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1979 bank could withhold the Provident Fund (PF) amount only when any loss is proved to be caused to it by an employee’s act.
