SC to Punjab Govt.: Relook into Punjab Preservation of Subsoil Water Act - 08.11.2023

Supreme Court while dealing with the issue of stubble burning and its effect on air quality has observed that adherence to Punjab Preservation of Subsoil Water Act, 2009 is causing a problem of pollution, the impact of which is borne by Delhi and therefore State must re-look into the Act.
