Kar. HC: Media Must Comply With Cable TV Act While Carrying Out Sting Operations - 08.11.2023

Karnataka High Court while observing that sting operations are healthy; but they should be ‘healthy sting operations’ i.e. in accordance with law, has held that media houses conducting such operations must comply with the provisions of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995.
