CIC Issues Notice to 5 Parties over 2013 RTI Order - 19.05.2016

Central Information Commission (CIC) has issued show cause notices to five national parties - BJP, CPI, CPM, NCP and BSP - for non-compliance of its 2013 order. Earlier CIC had recognised parties as public authorities and directed them to make details like list of office-bearers, donations and other information public.
