SC: Important to Distinguish B/W Contradictions in Witness Statements and Credibility of Witnesses - 01.11.2023

Supreme Court while observing that it is important to distinguish between contradictions in witness statements and the overall credibility of witnesses, has held that merely because there is inconsistency in evidence it is not sufficient to impair the credit of the witness.
