Ker. HC Quashes Criminal Case Against Makers of ‘Kantara’ Movie in 'Varaharoopam' Copyright Row - 30.10.2023

Kerala High Court has quashed criminal case registered under Section 63 of Copyright Act over the alleged plagiarism of 'Navarasam' song of Thykkudam Bridge band as ‘Varaharoopam’ song in ‘Kantara’ movie, in view of the settlement between Kantara makers and Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Ltd.
