Cal. HC: Quantum of Security in Maritime Claims Shouldn’t be Unreasonable - 26.10.2023

Calcutta High Court while observing that a claim for loss / compensation must be proximate to the occurrence as well as to the consequences of the loss, has held that the quantum of security in maritime claims shouldn’t be harsh and unreasonable.
