Ker. HC: Can’t Prosecute Person for Defamation for Criticizing a Product/Service Online - 23.10.2023

Kerala High Court has held that criticism of any product/service made by a citizen cannot be treated as defamatory under Section 499 of IPC though such criticism may not be of the liking of the manufacturers/producers.
