Ker. HC: Vehicle Can’t be Confiscated if Registered Owner Didn’t Have Prior Knowledge of the Offence - 19.10.2023

Kerala High Court has held that once it is established that the owner of vehicle is devoid of any knowledge that the vehicle was used for illegally transporting any contraband, the owner cannot be penalised by ordering to confiscate his vehicle merely because the vehicle is involved in the offence.
