Cal. HC: Equating Consensual Sexual Acts with Rape Undermines the Bodily Integrity of Adolescents - 19.10.2023

Calcutta High Court while observing that law’s unintended effect has been the deprivation of liberty of young people in consensual relationships, has held that by equating consensual sexual acts with rape and sexual assault, the law undermines the bodily integrity and dignity of adolescents.
