P&H HC: Not Counting Covid-19 Parole Period Towards Sentence Would Violate Article 21 - 18.10.2023

Punjab and Haryana High Court has observed that exclusion of special involuntary covid-19 parole in the actual sentence puts prisoners at a disadvantage leading to them serving a sentence longer than the original and would violate Article 21 of the Indian Constitution.
