Cal. HC: ‘Sexist’ to Exclude Married Daughter from the Scope of Compassionate Appointment - 18.10.2023

Calcutta High Court while observing that rejection of compassionate appointment solely on the ground of marital status of a daughter is an arbitrary and sexist distinction, has held married daughter must be included within the category of direct dependents.
