SC: Disallowing Use of Donar Egg for Gestational Surrogacy is Against Surrogacy Rules - 11.10.2023

Supreme Court has observed that the new amendment in Form 2 of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules, 2022 which specifies that donor eggs cannot be used for gestational surrogacy of an intending couple is prima facie against the Rule 14(a) of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules, 2022.
