SC: Court U/A 142 Can’t Ignore Any Substantive Statutory Provision Dealing with a Subject - 05.10.2023

Supreme Court has held that court in exercise of powers under Article 142 cannot ignore any substantive statutory provision dealing with the subject, as this power cannot be used to supplant the substantive law applicable to the case or to the cause under consideration of the court.
