P&H HC: Only High Court and Supreme Court can Pass Life Sentence for Full Life - 04.10.2023

Punjab and Haryana High Court while observing that trial Court passing sentence to undergo life imprisonment for full life, is in violation of SC judgment in UOI v. V. Sriharan @ Murugan (MANU/SC/1377/2015
; 2015/INSC/886), has held that such a sentence can be passed either by HC or SC only.
