SC: Can’t Prove Discovery Against Person Who Wasn’t in Custody at Time of Confession - 26.09.2023

Supreme Court has held that being in custody and being accused of an offense are indispensable pre-requisites to render a confession made to police admissible to a limited extent, and therefore discovery can’t be proved against any person if these conditions are not complied with.
