SC: When Selected Candidate Resigns After Joining, Fresh Selection Must be Done to Fill Vacancy - 25.09.2023

Supreme Court has held that if one of the selected candidates joins and then resigns, it gives rise to a fresh vacancy which should be filled up without following the fresh selection process and not from the previous merit list.
