SC: Can’t Allow use of Barium Nitrate Merely Because it Would be 30 Per Cent Less Polluting - 25.09.2023

Supreme Court has held that allowing the use of Barium Nitrate in firecrackers merely because it is indicated that the formulation as a whole would be 30 per cent less polluting would in fact be a retrograde step as compared to the effort that has been put in by various orders of this Court.
