Del. HC: Provisions of Motor Vehicles Act Applicable for Electric Vehicles - 15.09.2023

Delhi High Court has held that all the provisions under the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act and the Central Motor Vehicle Rules pertaining to requirement of registration, mandatory insurance cover, wearing of protective headgear, penal provisions etc. are applicable to EVs or battery operated vehicles.
