Mad. HC: Even a day’s Delay in Providing Detenu, Grounds for Detention Violates Article 22(5) - 14.09.2023

Madras High Court has held that any delay in communicating the grounds of arrest to a detenu under Section 8 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act, 1982 is violative of Article 22(5) of the Constitution.
