SC Refers Petitions Challenging Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code to a Larger Bench - 12.09.2023

Supreme Court has referred the petitions challenging sedition law i.e. Section 124A of Indian Penal Code to a bench of at least 5-judges since the provision was upheld by a 5-judge bench Kedar Nath Singh v. State of Bihar (MANU/SC/0074/1962
).
