SC: Not Illegal to File Chargesheet in a Language Which the Accused Doesn’t Understand - 28.08.2023

Supreme Court has observed that there is no provision in CrPC which requires chargesheet to be filed in language of the Court determined as per Section 272 CrPC, and in case respondent is not conversant with the language, Court can direct prosecution to provide translated version of the same.
