Ker. HC: Every Mentally Diseased Person is Not Ipso Facto Exempted from Criminal Responsibility - 21.08.2023

Kerala High Court while observing that every mentally diseased person is not ‘Ipso Facto’ exempted from criminal responsibility, has held that mere absence of motive for a crime, can’t, in the absence of a plea and proof of legal insanity, bring the case within section 84 of IPC.
