Ker HC: Non-Conduct of TIP is Fatal if Witnesses Not Familiar with Accused at the Time of Occurrence - 16.08.2023

Kerala High Court has held that in cases where witnesses were not familiar with accused at the time of occurrence, the non-conduct of test identification parade (TIP) is fatal, and conviction based solely on identification of accused for the first time in court is not sufficient.
