Del HC Rejects Plea to Condone Delay in Filing Appeal Against Acquittal in 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots Case - 16.08.2023

Delhi High Court has rejected plea condone the delay in filing of an appeal by prosecution against the acquittal of various accused in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots case and observed that there is no explanation for inordinate delay of more than 27 years and grounds taken by the State are not justifiable.
