SC Sets Aside P&H HC’s Directions on Appearance of Prosecution Witnesses - 14.08.2023

Supreme Court has set aside directions issued by the Punjab & Haryana High Court in 2022 regarding the issuance of summons to prosecution witnesses in a criminal trial and observed that such a rigid rule cannot be made through a judicial fiat.
