SC: Palmolein Case Trial can Continue - 12.05.2016

SC has dismissed a petition filed by Ex-Chief Vigilance Commissioner P J Thomas to quash the 1992 palmolein import corruption case. It observed that there was no need to acquit anyone in the case at this stage and the trial court could go ahead with its proceedings.
