Cal. HC: Award Liable to be Set Aside When Arbitrator Fails to Disclose His Appearance for Claimant - 31.07.2023

Calcutta High Court while observing that Arbitration Act cast a continuous duty on arbitrator to remain neutral, has held that award is liable to be set aside if the arbitrator fails to disclose to respondent his engagements with the affiliate co. of claimant during pendency of arbitration.
