SC: Can’t Assign Ordinary Meaning of ‘Cruel’ in Exception 4 to Section 300 of IPC - 28.07.2023

Supreme Court has observed that if Court assigns a meaning to the word ‘cruel’ used in exception 4 which is used in common parlance, in no case exception 4 can be applied, and stated that the term ‘Cruel’ in the said context is a relative term.
