Cal. HC Suspends IO for Disclosing Identity of Minor Victim in POCSO Case - 26.07.2023

Calcutta High Court has ordered suspension of the Investigation Officer (IO) in a POCSO Case for ignoring the mandate of settled law in the investigation of the case and prima facie caused harm to victim by exposing her identity and also for making arrest of the accused without material evidence.
